Hello (First Post)

So, I’ve never done this before. I’ve never imagined myself as a “blogger” or other member of the literary community. Before I started college, I think I’d only read like 10 books from front to back. Now, I really want to start writing books and stories of my own, and I think a good way to do that is if I get into some sort of routine writing, even if it only comes sparsely. I want to make it public because I have a hard time doing things for myself, so I’ll try doing it for all to see and potentially enjoy in spite of the criticism I imagine I will receive at any time. Please feel free to email me or connect with me on social media and let me know how I’m doing.

Oh, and for those of you who don’t know me, I’m a dude, 23 years old as of January 12, 2016, I’m a mechanical engineering student attending Northern Arizona University, set to graduate on May 13, 2016, and I’m an incredibly confused individual. I also like commas and run-on sentences, and I’m trying to find a balance between reality and imagination… You know, the kind of balance where reality is neglected entirely on a regular basis.

My parents and friends call me a lot of names, some derogatory, but I usually sign as “Yours Truly” because when I write, I intend for just about every set of eyes, and I want everyone to feel like I’m writing directly from my heart to theirs.

Hello.
