Trying to Believe

I would like to become

The grandest things that you perceive

Not just a simple hum

But every note in symphony

Why just settle for the one

When you could have all shades of green

Why would I just be a sun

When there are trillions in a galaxy

 

You don’t want a sum?

You just want me?

I’m afraid I won’t be enough

Even though you tell me I’m your everything

But that’s not on you

I’m trying to believe
