Obscured by the Brightest Green

Hello, dear friend
I hope you don’t hate me
Lately, it seems
The winds abate me
I’m not so sure
Where I should go
Or if I’ve gone too far into
Some place covered in gray snow
I’d like to return
To make my way home
Just to be somewhere
Where I am known
I’d like to be somewhere
That I can see
A distant horizon obscured
By the brightest green
