Dare to Go

I stripped myself of pretense
As I approached the blank, white page
Far more vulnerable, in a sense
Losing my guise of sage

I come to you all as I am
An echoing voice, far off
I’d want you to think of me as grand
But as I say it, even I scoff

So I sit on my pleather chair
In a home office no one knows
Hoping I can create roads to somewhere
Only the bravest adventurers dare to go
