Don’t Shoot the Messenger

Just to let you know…
I’m just a fly on the wall
Taking in the room
Relaying every scene
I’m not here to start a row
Though that is a side effect of the truth
Because we prefer our little comforts
And we all find comfort in status quo
And the status quo is rarely truth
And unfortunately, that’s just the truth
Don’t shoot the messenger
