I rise with a fitful imagination
Waking nightmarish scenarios
Each one, a deathly dedication
To put me in a place, precarious
Their overwhelming inundation
Suggests other powers, nefarious
But as they’re my mind’s creation
I fear that I’m destructively contrarious
That is to say dedicated to my own desecration
