Creature of the Deep

It is time to live
It is time to be a Creature of the Deep
It is time to live with utter consequence
And to never return to who you were, unknowingly asleep

It is time for forgiveness
To let go of all that is poison to keep
It is a slow, painful death to hold onto
And the only antidote is to allow release

So exhale
Breathe
Aspirate
Relief

And be the being that makes the Universe’s breath catch
In awe of the dense authenticity found in the Creature of the Deep
