About

I don’t really like talking about myself.

You can think of me however you’d like. I don’t mind people assuming things about me because I know who I am… Most of the time. Truth is, the things you read on this website are the most real things about me. Things that some of my closest friends don’t even know. In fact, most of my closest friends don’t even know this website exists. Here, I share my insecurities, my past, my fears of the future, and issues I have with myself now.

Most of all, I hope to encourage, inspire, and help people realize that everyone is only human. There is nothing special about the writing here. I’m just communicating what the vast majority of the world goes through in words that you happen to enjoy reading. Or you don’t. Whatever. Point is, we’re all in the same boat, and if we all just gave each other a little more Love and a lot more empathy, we might actually see that from time to time.

I’m not really sure if I want to be immortalized. That sounds like a heck of a lot of pressure. But I do want to write things that help people remember – whether it’s a memory, an imagination, or a self-discovery, I want you to remember how human you are because of how you do or don’t sympathize with the ideas I’m putting out there.

“God gave us memory so that we might have roses in December.” -J.M. Barrie

This really isn’t about me. It’s about my writing. I don’t like that little word my in the middle of that statement. So let’s just say: It’s about writing.

Because it is a requirement to have social media, here I am: December Rose Writing Instagram

You may refer to me as December Rose. Hello 🙂
