Why do I struggle

Between silhouette or marionette

To Daedal and autarchic

From some thing once

To some one evermore

 

Because from egocentric

To altruistic

 

I am the cog

I am the wheel

I am the sword

I am the stick

 

I am where I am

The fly in the web

and pearl in the clam

Waiting for my usefulness

 

And, quite honestly, living it
