Unknown Corners

Some days I wear my scarlet letter on my sleeve

And some days I keep my skeletons just for me

I never meant for it to be anything you’d see

Unless it’d make you think I’m lovely

It’s the lives we live without our knowing

The glint in our eyes we didn’t know we were showing

The cancerous, choking vines we didn’t know we were growing

The seeds of weeds we didn’t know we were sowing

But what can one do

When another finds the truth

We didn’t know we had to hide

The monsters

in the darkness

we didn’t know we had inside

Flaunt

Welcome to my mind. Watch the first step, it's a doozy.
