Could I please

Stay here for another hour or three

Or mayhaps, like, seventeen?

So I can confess my dreams

to the blank page in front of me

be the creator in me

be exactly who I’m meant to be

to make you see the things I see

I know it’s cheesy

but sometimes it’s what I need
