Rewritten

Same old character with a different voice

Same scatterbrain with a different poise

Same melodies, all written for two

Same romanticism with a different muse

I’ve stained every page

With permanent ink

No options to erase

Backed up to the brink

Met many a sage

Who taught me ways to think

But you can’t learn to engage

A heart to heart link

She has so many facets, this diamond of mine

The Light glistens and flashes in enamouring design

With misery and sadness I once was smitten

Now she inspires my madness, now I am rewritten
