I walked the path that was made for me

But up ahead, I couldn’t see

It turned a sharp left, in mystery

Now I’m bereft of the confidence I normally keep

All that once was strength and ease

Now like fiction and hard to believe

Hunched back and sheepish feet

Carry me on as a timid breeze


But this I know, and this I need

As my Lover clasps my hand

I shall continue on, and breathe
