Intertwined

My Love, if you read this

Know this to be true:

I crave every kiss

And whispers with you

In the dark bliss

Under the pale moon

Vines that all twist

In love’s tender bloom

I crave conversation

In a coffee shop somewhere

Or brave contemplation

Of the future we share

Without hesitation

Because in your deep stare

Is the realization

There is no other so fair

My Love, you’re a tree

Your roots burrow deep

You are all I see

I’m yours to keep

My horizon at sea

The tea that I steep

You are poetry

Intertwined in my melodies

In all my dreams

In my deepest sleep
