My, how far you’ve flown

And my, how much you’ve grown

The many eyes that have admired you

Before you were one I’ve known

 

My, your beating heart

My, the little restarts

You must have had along the way

Broken nests and birds of prey

 

Yet here you are to sing to me

And here I am, admiring thee

And though I doubt you notice me

This moment was designed to be
