Lovely Ground

Sweet whispers from Heaven
Reminding me all the ways I’m Loved
And that Love should be smattered
Over every inch I touch
There may have been a day
Maybe twice, then again, maybe just once
That I did this well
Gave a smile and a kind word to everyone
I shall try again today
Even if I’m the only one
But I’m not, my dear friend
I know this because you’ve stuck around
Like you fell from Heaven
Everywhere you are is lovely ground
