A Mellifluous Kiss

Such a delight
Is the season’s waning
Neither fighting
Nor complaining
Yet finding sleep
In frosted bliss
Savoring the sunlight
A mellifluous kiss
For what does one hear
While warm as a king
But the melody of
The coming spring
