I need to see something beautiful
Because I have fallen out of awe
Thought I know I should be
And my tears don’t come as readily
As the world around me deserves
A waterfall casting a million rainbows
Scintillating in exponential refraction
A baby blue, crystalline sky
With stars burning beyond the indiscernible veil
Pulses of magnetism and radiation
Encapsulating this lovely everything
And my Lover’s heart
Beating as my own
