A Place Silent, Awake

Look back on a place where you once knew peace
Where tears streamed from your eyes out of awe
All the world was still, silent sigh release
From that moment, your heart could still draw

As tempests rage and your foundation shakes
And resolve becomes frayed, singed, and thin
Remember that place is silent, awake
Send a prayer it remains without din

Return to that place when all has been done
Whether all is well or in shambles
Prayers preserve it as they do a loved one
That you can be filled as you amble
