Little Joys, Tiny Victories

Each day has such little joys and tiny victories
If we only take a moment to look around
A breakfast well-cooked and a child who says “please”
A wallet returned to the lost and found

I look at my wife and I look at my life
These victories are huge – my everything
But they did not come in droves nor in rife
They are little joys and tiny victories, culminating
