Faith and Rhymes

I woke up today
With the devil in my mind
He’s there most of all of the time
Feeding me sweet rhymes

So I started to pray
Reciting age-old lines
Telling myself I’m fine
And that my prayer worked this time

But inside, it’s all the same
I’m searching for some signs
Suggesting these are not the end times
Drawing a blank on faith and rhymes

Enjoy my writing? Buy me a coffee 🙂
