The Pursuit

I am weary
Yes, I am weak
I have seen the mountain
And I have climbed it
Yet I have not made it to the top
And now, again, I stand at her feet
I wonder once more if the view will
Be worth the strain and the heartache
The strain and heartache that I know to be the price
The price of the climb, of the endeavor, of the pursuit
