It is Unsure

Staring out with ponderous consideration
Trying to appear smart with twenty-dollar words
Recovering from a few years of ablation
Questioning whether or not I’m under a curse

I’ve wanted to be part of something greater
Since I saw the greats turn the world
Always afraid to put it off until later
Now is much nearer, and even it is unsure
