Ruminations of a Working Man – Ocean Stew

I’m so caught up in

my head – I don’t know where to begin

that said – here’s my one cardinal sin

I’ve been doing too much thinkin’

I’m so afraid to

grow up – I turn a deep shade of blue

this cup – or should I say ocean stew

water, or maybe something new

So I recite these

poems – some nonsensical daydream

ahem – the boss has come to stop me

I promise I’ll come back to breathe
