Facade of Power

When the sea is all but placid

And the breeze strikes at your cheek

The loves you once sought and thought you knew

Have agendas and havoc to wreak

Now, you close and lock your glass lid

By the 10-mile inland creek

This facade of the power that you wanted to choose

Faintly echoes the past memories
