Autumn’s Book

When your mind just won’t hush
And all the world around is in such a rush
Take a page out of Autumn’s book
Whose leaves litter and line the banks of the brook
Listen for the water’s sweeping
And be aware of the willow’s weeping
Yet in the noise, allow your cheeks to go flush
As all the world around begins to blush
And remember the stillness that surrounds
If you still yourself despite the sound
