The Departing Heart and the Somber Knell

There is a flight of a weary heart
That some may see as a depart
But when storm clouds obstruct their view
While the heart finds altitude anew
One cannot help but fare thee well
To the departing heart and the somber knell
It is a bittersweet loss the heart bereaves
Much like the fall of autumn leaves
That the heart cannot accompany their lost friend
Though the raging storm to their bitter end
