Breath, To Move

I sighed a breath
And the candlelight flickered
From nearly halfway across the room

I spoke of death
And my resolve wavered
Knowing if it was my time, it’d be too soon

Because, as long as my breath
Can move the air
I have at least one more reason to continue

And from candlelight to malleable shadow
I am here, first and foremost, to move

Enjoy my writing? Buy me a coffee 🙂
