Redamancy

Blow a kiss to the morning sun

Wave your hand through the sky that bears it

Give your heart out one by one

To each day and dress yourself all in scarlet

Flirt awhile with the waning moon

Take its veil to soften your raiment

Place a thousand drops of dew

In your eyes that you might be chasten

Offer up redamancy

Counter to your tendencies

Learn from the earth, and moon, and stars

Though now you’re here, you’ll soon depart
