A Motion

Motion pervades the morning
As the stars blink out one by one
Replaced by the glaring of the sun
Watching a new day forming

I am given into grace
Despite each of my graceless ways
Motion sweeps me up in its arrays
Am I simply but a face

Or am I an adorning
A motion meant to keep apace
