Detach

Detach
And feel the breeze
As it sweeps you off your feet
As it carries you over houses and trees
As you settle into a sense of higher peace
As your breathing slows and your breathing slows
And the effortless smile you swore you once knew
Returns to you and makes your rosy nose crinkle
And sides of your crystalline eyes crease
And you finally begin to breathe
Innocence and elegant dreams
Found by detaching, at least
For a moment, for a day
For once more second
Please
