Smudges of Me

I do not fear my timely passing
Untimely as it may seem
I do not fear my shattered bones
Painful as they make it to breathe
I do not fear the erasure of all I have created
As much a part of me as it may be
I do not fear the loss of all my possessions
Not the heirlooms, nor the sundries
All I fear is that this day would pass
Without my fingerprints – the smudges of me

Enjoy my writing? Buy me a coffee 🙂
